We recommend all our clients go onto this pricing with the acquirer as firstly you will get a much better deal but it is also totally transparent to all parties. It also means your pricing will not change as the acquirer has agreed the set margin they will take on each transaction.
“What is Interchange?"
Good question, Interchange is what Visa and Mastercard charge the acquirer to process a card. There a different fees for each card whether it is a debit, credit or business card.
Interchange pricing means you agree to pay the processor a set margin above interchange, so when your statement comes through it will show you exactly what the processor is being charged for processing your transactions and what you agreed to pay on top.
